Benefits of Apprenticeship

  • A bright, secure future. When you participate in the ASE apprenticeship program, you enter a career where your skills are in high demand in a job that can’t be outsourced or automated.

  • Mentorship and guidance in real-world settings. You learn, train, practice, observe and collaborate with trained mentor technicians and employers in the actual workplace through the ASE program.

  • Strengthened employability skills. While you practice using your technical skills, you learn valuable, and much broader life-long employability skills. How to be personally responsible for the work you do, be punctual and dependable, and have a positive and collaborative attitude are some of the critical abilities you will acquire as you work and learn under the guidance of a mentor technician who cares.

  • Confidence booster. When you have someone by your side to show you the way, your confidence in your ability to succeed soars. The confidence you learn in this working environment often transfers over to other aspects of your life, allowing you the courage to step out of your comfort zone and achieve the goals and dreams you’ve set for yourself.
